Collage

Before returning to paint (and for my returning to paint around 1998 was my important meeting with the Spanish painter Antonio Lopez Garcia in Madrid), I worked with the technique of collage (Max Ernst docet) and alkyd color , a work of infinite patience attacking small pieces taken from magazines or books on science, pathology, space technology, biology, ect. At the time I orbit around the area underground and cyberpunk, certainly not the official mainstream art scene. Important for me was the influence of authors such as Phil K. Dick, Ballard, Gibson or Californian magazine Re / search or Cronenberg's movies. In Italy, at the time, we were very late compared to what was happening abroad. Today was a bit too approved.
