Many years ago I read Susan Sontag's essay "fascinating fascism" which was very important to me and introduced me to Leni Riefenstahl (I met Leni once time at his home in Pocking, an extraordinary meeting. She liked very much my paintings). For years, many ignorant dealers have refused of these paintings because "fascist."
